Shopping for beauty can be more than a little daunting if you're not "in the know" so when someone has done all the hard work for you, editing out what works from what doesn't, you'd be a fool not to take advantage. Online, my favourite place of all time for products that really work has to be Cult Beauty, for their approach to choosing what makes the cut and what doesn't. But if you fancy getting trying out the products, swatching and testing, then get yourself down to Beauty Mart on the third floor of Harvey Nichols. Here, Anna-Marie Solowij and Millie Kendall put their years of beauty expertise to the fore by cutting through the waffle and only stocking those iconic products that work hard for the money.
This week, I trotted down to Harvey Nichols after a long day at Ascot Ladies Day for a little shopping and champagne, courtesy of Beauty Mart and Running in Heels. And best of all, I actually met Anna-Marie herself, a long time beauty heroine of mine (she's a former beauty director of Vogue!) who gave me some great advice on what to do about my dry hair - I'll be writing about that very soon.
While I was there, I had time for a cheeky little manicure, courtesy of the girls from Perfect 10. Being as decisive as I am (ahem!), I couldn't choose between going for the neon pink from Face Stockholm or the Nail Foundation and Tint from HIPP x RGB, so as you can see, I went for both!
Of course, you could always shop Beauty Mart online, but why would you, when it's the perfect excuse to get yourself down to Harvey Nicks? Oh, and if Sloane Street isn't really your thing, Beauty Mart will have a pop-up store coming to Boxpark in Shoreditch on 1st July, right in the heart of London's happening East End.

ps this photo was taken three days after the manicure...not bad eh?
