Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream - My Little Pot of Miracle-ness!

As regular readers of this blog will know, I've suffered from terrible allergic reactions to products around the eyes and it got so bad that I wanted to literally scratch my eyes out.

Well, you'd think I'd learn from my mistakes and stick to what I know works, but no, I went to the Bobbi Brown counter and bought myself a new eye cream (and corrector), only to have a similiarly horrible allergic excema reaction around the eyes all over again.  Luckily I still had some of the specially formulated homeopathic cream in my fridge from last time, so I put copious amounts around my eyes at regular intervals, and managed to contain what I can only call a rash around the eyes.

But although it no longer itches and hurts, it takes time for the skin to heal and get back to its former state of smoothness.

For some reason, I remembered I had an unopened pot of Elemis' Pro-Collagen Marine Cream hanging around, so as I've never had a problem with it before, I though I'd use that.  Not, you understand, in a bid to cure what was going on around my eyes, but just to use something that wouldn't aggravate it further.  I used it all over the face, and a very thin film of it around the eye area before I went to bed, and lo and behold, by the time I woke up the next day, not only was my skin supersoft and smooth, but the skin around my eyes was already 50% better.  Three days on, and the skin under the eyes is almost healed and back to normal.  It feels hydrated, smoother and that awful tightness and compulsion to itch are all gone.
