Last night, an impromptu dinner at a chiringuito (restaurant on the beach) meant making a bit more effort than I've been making of late while on holiday here in Spain. So it was a case of "slap it on, see how its looks and hope for the best" as it really was too hot to get too busy with the makeup. But as it turned out OK, I though I'd share it with you. It really was simple, super fast and used a minimum of paraphernalia.
A quick wash of Origins Smarty Plants CC Cream SPF20* with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush - my tan warrants no real coverage so this used was more like a tinted moisturiser. Then the fabulous Estee Lauder Batik Sun Eye Palette* - the golden shade swept over the eyelid, the light rust colour smudged into the crease, the champagne colour just wafted under the eyebrow and the chocolate shade just emphasising the outer corner. Drawing on a delicate liner on the upper eyelid, using Chanel Le Crayon Yeux in Brun Teak and a sweep of my current favourite mascara d.j.v. beautenizer* (which I rave about in my latest video, click HERE to see) and that was the eyes done.
A pop of bright lipstick was called for to keep things lively as the sun went down, so I went for Rimmel's Apocalips in Stellar, which came with me to dinner.
Bon appétit!!!
