Having a bit of a do at my place tonight, so it's time to get the glam on! Glam and Chanel both go hand in hand, so it was a bit of a no-brainer that I'd turn to one of my all time favourite palettes, the Raffinement Eye Shadow Quartet to create a classic, brown smokey eye. Of course, a little help was needed from my trusty old LancĂ´me brown eyeliner, a swish of a black eyeliner and lashings of mascara from Mally.
I did things a little differently this time, starting with the brown eyeliner above and below the eye, packing on the darkest shadow shade over the liner to give it some welly, followed by sweeping the shade bottom left in the palette all over the moving part of the eyelid. The medium brown shade worked perfectly to define the crease, while the lightest shade did a great job of highlighting the inner corner and under the brow. All blended to oblivion, of course, with my MAC 217 brush. Black eyeliner, courtesy of Boots 17 went on both the upper and lower waterline, with a bit more dark brown shadow smudged along the lower lash line for good measure. A quick curl with my Shu Uemura curlers and a couple coats of Mally Volumizing Mascara and I'm good to go.
Now to get on with the rest of the face! Have a lovely weekend!
