The Lips: Givenchy Le Rouge Couleur Intense Lipsticks

There are some things in life that just feel luxurious from the get-go. Silk sheets, truffles and cashmere. And top of the range lipsticks.

I'm currently in love with the Le Rouge lipsticks from Givenchy. Everything a lipstick should be. Intensely pigmented. Incredibly moisturising. Undeniably long lasting. And the most divine colours - classic, wearable, feminine and utterly lust-worthy. And don't even get me started on the packaging. A sleek leather case coupled with silver hardware, including two little studs at the base, make this a lipstick you'd be proud to pull out of your handbag.

To give them their proper names, Givenchy calls them Le Rouge Intense Color Sensuously Mat Lip Color. The two shown here are Carmin Escarpin, a classic, bold red and Rose Dentelle, a perfect everyday warm peachy-pink colour that would suit any skin tone.
