Kate Moss Lipsticks for Rimmel

It had to happen! Kate Moss, who in the fashion and beauty world can do no wrong, has added another sure-fire super-seller on her resume.


Fresh from her high-profile wedding, she has launched a range of seven strong shades for Rimmel.  It really comes as no surprise as she's already dressed every teenager from Land's End to John O'Groats in her immensely successful clothing range for Topshop, (fourteen seasons - count 'em!), and she WAS the face of Rimmel for what seems like forever!   (Well, ten years, actually). Oh, and don't forget the capsule collection of bags she designed for Longchamp.  A fusion of her emulated and much-feted fashion sense and having spent nearly all her life around the world's top make-up artists put her in the perfect place to launch a small, select and fashion-forward range of lippies.


The seven colours are all super-pigmented, high-shine and not for the faint-hearted! They range from cherry red, strong pink, to an on-trend deep plum that taps into the new season Forties inspired trend.  There is one beige-y nude-ish colour, which looks easy to wear as it is quite a pinky beige and is the one I've got my eye on to go with strong eye looks.


I've yet to see the shades in the flesh, so to speak, and will post a full review when I do.  The packaging looks really lush - matte black with a horizontal gloss strip, and Kate's signature adorning the side.  Wonder if they'll give that satisfying "click" when you close the case?  Launching on 7th September, they'll be £5.49 each and exclusive to Boots until the 28th, then available anywhere Rimmel is sold.
