Ok, lets be honest here; actually, pretty much everyday here on holiday has encompassed some sort of beauty treat or other. Lots of beauty shopping (watch out for some haul posts coming soon) and lots of time to try out a new beauty love or two.
Today's little pamper session was more about rediscovering an old beauty favourite. I've always been a bit of a beauty junkie, now that I think about it. Back in the day, when I was still in long socks and pigtails....ok, not quite, but you get the picture... So, I saved up from my weekend job (Saturdays and Sundays in a garden centre, in case you're interested), and once I'd accumulated enough pennies, off I trotted to Selfridges to purchase my first high-end beauty buy..... and an addiction was born.
The Borghese mud masks, are, in my opinion, iconic. The mother of all mud masks, if you will. That huge Shrek-like green square-ish jar used to take pride of place in my bathroom. And my green face used to scare the heebee-jeebees out of my mother and sister on a weekly basis. But that squat jar full of the green stuff was a permanent fixture in my bathroom.
Fast forward to today, and those gorgeous girls at Cult Beauty have bought the Borghese brand right back atcha! Knowing the sun and sea would dehydrate, I bought along the Fango Mud Ristorativo mask to hydrate, replenish and revitalise my skin. Hyluronic acid plumped and stimulated collagen production, while the Kaolin clay sucked out impurities from my pores better than any vacuum cleaner ever could. (Not that I've ever tried that, I hasten to add!). Just ten minutes luxuriating in this light blue beauty left my skin luminous, smooth and soft.
Misspent childhood playing in the mud? I knew it would come in handy some day!

This mask really does sound good. And I am loving that flower you have in your top photo - it's so pretty!
