Never before have I heard lipsticks being "badass" but with the new Revolution Lipsticks from Urban Decay, I think they may just have got it spot on. What a minute, you might be asking... Urban Decay and lipsticks? Yes you heard that right. The edgy brand that brought you your all-time favourite Naked eye palettes and Naked foundations is bringing lipsticks back... with a bang!
This 22-strong line up of highly pigmented, creamy, long-lasting lippies ticks all the boxes. Lipstick is back this Autumn; pack away your glosses as the coming season is all about grown up glamour and make-up that LOOKS like make-up, not some sorry excuse for it. Urban Decay's offering is definitely worth some, if not lots, of your hard earned money. Seriously pigmented, one swipe is all you'll need to recreate the colour in the bullet. Packed full of avocado oil, jojoba oil, cocoa butter and shea butter, the lipsticks are very moisturising, while remaining incredibly long lasting. I stupidly brushed my teeth after applying the lipstick, (don't judge me) and it stayed put beautifully.
And don't even get me started on the shade range! 22 gorgeous shades ranging from nudes to reds, fuchsias to plums and everything else in between. It's a veritable wardrobe of lip colours and if that weren't enough, Urban Decay have been real dears and given us 16 Glide On 24/7 Lip Liners that match each lipstick exactly, even with the same shade name. Isn't that what you've always dreamed of? So now there's no longer any excuse for mismatched lipliners that look like trout pouts - you have been warned.
Uptop are 69, a vibrant red, Venom, a deep and beautiful plum and Liar, my perfect nude shade, along with their counterpart liners, with a glimpse of three of the other shades in Anarchy, a blueish-pink, Manic, a rose-tinted nude and Ozone, a clear liner that you could use with any shade, any lipstick. I also have the very beautiful Jilted (below), which has fast raced into my list of favourite lippies.
I'll be showcasing this gorgeous range of lipwear in #ALipADay so make sure you're following me on Instagram and Twitter.
These beauties launch on August 5th, with the lipsticks at £14 and the 27/7 Lip Liners at £12... which ones will you be buying?
xXx
