If there's ever a day of the week to indulge in a mask, it's got to be a Sunday...not least because you're not about to be rudely interrupted by the postman just as the mask is setting hard and cracking... such an attractive look!
If that photo got your attention, you'll be pleased to know that it's the delicious Glamoxy Mask by Rodial. Unlike most masks I've tried, this one is black, and I mean JET BLACK. Scary is not even the word that comes to mind. Black liquorice and amino acids work hard to brighten the skin while the minerals work deep into the skin to cleanse and purify, "removing excess oil dirt and impurities." All very lovely, but what really sold me is that this is a peel-off mask...whoopee! There's something about the peel-off that makes me feel, rightly or wrongly, that the mask is really exfoliating and removing dead cells from the skin's surface. It's probably not true, but if it gets me using the mask on a regular basis, then who's complaining? Of course, there's always the child in me that remembers slathering herself in PVA glue at school, waiting till it dried, and then pretending I was peeling off my skin...... misspent youth, what can I say?
Too thin a layer and you'll miss out on the
Are you a fan of Rodial masks? When I bought this I also splurged on the 5 Minute Facial mask, also by Rodial, which I'll review soon too.

When i first saw the picture it reminded me of Demi Lovato in her new video! :) i love that its a peel off mask, im yet to use one but they just seem so neat and tidy compared to normal face masks! :) X
ReplyDeleteHaha, that is scary looking!! But I also prefer peel-off masques, somehow I just feel they work better, and they're tidier than regular masques that have to be rinsed off in the sink.
