The Box is a notorious London club set in the very heart of Soho, infamous for it's raunchy, racy and rather shocking "entertainment". While it's not actually a private members club, it's almost more private than a great many clubs, with its "strictly no photos" policy of the performances. In fact, everytime I've been there, we've not been allowed to take any photos at all, not even of ourselves! It calls itself a "Theatre of Varieties" and while I can't show you any photos of the "varieties", you can see a little minute-and-a-half compilation on their website, TheBoxSoho.com
Last night, however was a different matter. A friend had hired the whole place out for a private party so while there were still no photos allowed of the performances, we were snap-happy before and after!
You can see all the action from last night on my Instagram feed (LINK HERE), but in the meantime, I thought I'd do a very quick outfit post for you.
I kept it very simple with a sliver neoprene dress by Sass & Bide, a silver pair of Louboutins and super-soft clutch by Zagliani. As it was a masquerade party, I decided to indulge in a bit of body-painting, with a very beautiful mask literally created and painted on for me by the very talented Zaynab Mirza, creator of Provoke Cosmetics. I'll do a separate post on the make-up tomorrow.
And surprisingly, for Loubies, my feet didn't hurt a bit! That's it, ankle injury over, I'm back in my heels, girls!!!
