There's something about Christmas advent calendars that never fail to bring out the child in me.  No matter that I've bought the thing, so that everything that comes out from behind those dinky little doors is already paid for by me.  No matter that it's normally some really unnecessary but goes-down-all-too-quickly chocolate that I'll regret the minute I've eaten, (but won't stop me repeating it again the next day!) 

So the recent spate of beauty advent calendars has had me all a frenzy! Just imagine, a new beauty treat everyday for 24 days! And not a single calorie between them! There are so many different ones to choose from.  There's one by the very lovely Liz Earle, perfect for Liz Earle fans, one by Lancôme, another by Selfridges, another from a collaboration between You magazine and Latest in Beauty... and there are others.

As a bit of nail addict, I opted for the highly covetable Mini Mani Month by Ciate.  This delectable little beauty is a collection of 24 of Ciate's little bottles in miniature format, one behind each door.  5ml of each colour, 20 in all, including three new ones that are exclusive to this set, along with four bottles of the Ciate Caviar Manicure beads that I wrote about previously, which you can read HERE.

Just imagine, you could have a new manicure every day of December.  And when I say you, I really do mean YOU!
