Hair Up Do @Superdrug

So it's that time of year, when we get all excited about Christmas before we've even jetted off for a summer holiday.  It's called Christmas in July for the fashion and beauty press, and given the weather this year, I'm wondering if we missed out on summer completely.


I'll do a round up of my favourite bits coming your way this Autumn/Winter, but I really wanted to show you this gorgeous hair-do.  I can't bear to unpin and take it out, and loved walking around the West End and travelling on the tube with my hair "done" - I got so many admiring glances! (At least I like to think they were admiring!).


At the Superdrug Christmas Press Day today, I had this gorgeous bun styled into my hair, using nothing more than a £5.99 donut and a few kirby grips.  I've got one to try at home, and I'll write again when I have a go myself, but I'm warning you now, I have no patience, so my effort will look nothing like this one.
