Serums: Shiseido, Eve Lom and Bare Minerals

It's not often I hit the bottom of the bottle.  In my job, you've hardly got to grips with one product or brand before you're trying out another one... or two or three!

So when I do finally "hit the pan" I know it's a product I've loved using, seen results with and will probably replace, no matter the cost.

Recently, I've been really getting into my serums, and I've now finished not one, but two serums, and fast approaching the end of a third, so I just had to share with you.

Firstly, the expensive, but oh-so-worth-it Future Solution LX Ultimate Regenerating Serum from Shiseido, which I wrote about here on Khaleejesque.com .  At £250 for 30ml, it's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.  And although my initial bottle was a PR sample, I will definitely be buying this again.  I used this semi-opaque, cream-coloured serum every morning, after cleansing and before moisturising, and I can honestly say my skin felt firmer, smoother and just looked younger after continued use.

It really feels luxurious when I apply it to my skin, and very nourishing.  There's loads of science behind it which I won't bore you with here (you can google it if you really want to get into the nitty gritty of it), but suffice to say it helps to maintain optimum cell turnover, making the skin look younger and fresher.

Next up is the more affordable, at £75, but just as effective, Eve Lom  Intense Firming Serum, which I have to say, REALLY lives up to its name.  Just one pipette's squeeze-worth of this this clear serum is enough for the whole face and neck.  I can honestly say that once it's been absorbed into the skin, it feels like my face is wearing a corset.  I can feel the tightening effect, and not in a bad, my-skin-is-so-tight-it-hurts way, more like it is helping my skin and face defy gravity.

And that's got to be a good thing?
The third serum I'm loving is the Bare Minerals Active Cell Renewal Night Serum, which you can read about by clicking HERE.  I'm using this every night, and I'm loving how it it's literally shrinking my pores before my very eyes.

Which serums are you using at the moment? And would you ever pay £250 for one?
