Mickey Contractor & MAC FOTD

Readers of this blog will know how excited I am about this new collection from MAC (if not, you can read it here), so I'm even more excited to show you the results of a little playtime with some of the products themselves.

I've never done a face of the day (FOTD) blog post before, but there's a first time for everything, so here goes.

First off, the products I used:

At first glance, I have to admit I wasn't particularly impressed with the Saffron Eyeshadow, but it has fast become my favourite eyeshadow of the collection and one I wouldn't be without.  In fact, I'm now considering buying a couple in reserve so that I'm never without it.

And while Gulabi Lipstick looks almost too bright, I've since used it again and blotted it before venturing out the door, and it's been a complete winner.
